nForma Connect

nForma Connect is Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School’s primary communication platform for parents and carers.

The app provides families with convenient access to important school information, including:

• school notices and announcements
• attendance and absence reporting
• excursion, camp and activity permission forms
• student school reports
• event information and reminders
• year-level and whole-school updates
• important documents and resources
• messages relevant to your child.

All parents and carers are expected to download the nForma Connect app and enable notifications to ensure they do not miss important or time-sensitive information.

Families are encouraged to check the app regularly and ensure their contact details remain current.

Seesaw 

At Lumen Christi, we believe learning is strengthened through strong partnerships between students, teachers and families. Seesaw provides a meaningful way to celebrate learning, share progress and strengthen communication between home and school, ensuring families remain connected to their child’s learning journey.

More than a digital portfolio, Seesaw captures authentic moments of learning, reflection and achievement. It provides students with opportunities to document their growth, celebrate success and take pride in their learning while giving families valuable insights into classroom experiences.

Supporting Learning and Reflection

Seesaw provides every student with a secure digital learning journal where they can capture, organise and reflect on their learning throughout the school year.

Students use Seesaw to:

• document their learning through photos, videos, drawings, voice recordings and written reflections

• celebrate learning, progress and achievement

• reflect on their learning and develop ownership of their growth

• share their thinking, creativity and learning experiences

• build confidence in using digital tools to communicate their learning.

By reflecting on their learning, students develop greater independence, confidence and understanding of their own progress.

Seesaw provides families with a valuable window into classroom learning and daily school life. Parents and carers have secure access to their own child’s learning journal, allowing them to celebrate learning as it happens and engage in meaningful conversations about their child’s experiences at school.

Families can:

Each family receives secure, personalised access to their child’s journal. Student privacy and online safety remain a priority, with all information managed within a protected and secure digital environment.
