Performing Arts empowers students to express themselves creatively while developing confidence, collaboration and communication. Through music, drama and dance, students explore ideas, celebrate creativity and develop an appreciation of the performing arts.

Students experience Performing Arts through:

Japanese
Learning Focus
Japanese empowers students to communicate across cultures while developing curiosity, respect and global understanding. Through language learning and cultural experiences, students broaden their perspectives and develop an appreciation of the richness and diversity of our world.

LIBRARY
- Our school library is a welcoming space where students can explore new ideas, discover different authors and develop a lifelong love of reading.
- Each class has a scheduled library session every week. During this time, students can browse the collection, explore a variety of genres and borrow books to enjoy at school and at home.
- Regular library visits support students to develop independence when selecting books, broaden their reading interests and learn how to care for and responsibly return borrowed resources.
- Through rich and diverse texts, our library encourages imagination, curiosity and a love of learning, providing every student with opportunities to discover books that inform, inspire and entertain.
VISUAL ART
- Visual Arts provides students with opportunities to explore their creativity, express ideas and develop confidence through artistic experiences.
- Each class participates in a scheduled Visual Arts lesson every week. Students experiment with a variety of materials, techniques and art forms, including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media.
- Through creating, viewing and discussing artworks, students develop their imagination, fine motor skills, critical thinking and appreciation of different artists, cultures and perspectives.
- Our Visual Arts program encourages curiosity, creativity and individual expression, providing every student with opportunities to experiment, take creative risks and let their unique light shine.
