Sacramental Preparation

Central to our faith, and therefore integral to our Religious Education program, are the sacraments of the Catholic Church. During primary school, we focus on three key sacraments that lay the foundation for a life of faith: Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

Students in Years 3, 4, and 6 participate in a school-based Sacramental Program in preparation for the celebration of these sacraments:

  • Reconciliation – Year 3
  • Eucharist – Year 4
  • Confirmation – Year 6

Children must be baptised before participating in any of these sacraments.

Sacramental Parent Night

As part of our preparation process within the Holy Trinity Parish, families are required to attend a Sacramental Parent Night in the year their child is receiving a sacrament. This evening is designed for parents only and offers an opportunity to deepen understanding of the sacrament, engage with faith, and support children in their preparation journey.
