Liturgical Life

At Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School, the liturgical life of our school is vibrant and integral to our identity as a Catholic community. Inspired by Lumen Christi – the Light of Christ and guided by our Vision and Mission, we gather regularly to celebrate our faith with reverence, joy and active participation.

Throughout the year, students, staff and families come together to celebrate Mass, prayer services and significant feast days. Students are encouraged to take an active role through readings, prayers of the faithful, music, liturgical ministries and reflection. These shared experiences deepen our faith, strengthen our sense of belonging and nurture spiritual growth.

Our liturgical celebrations:

  • Place Christ at the centre of our community life
  • Foster unity and connection across year levels
  • Encourage student voice and leadership
  • Provide meaningful opportunities for prayer and reflection
  • Strengthen our partnership with families and parish
