Cyber Safety

Digital Technologies, Cyber Safety & eSmart School

Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School places a high priority on providing access to digital technologies, internet facilities and ICT resources that support student learning and the effective operation of the school.

We recognise that while these technologies enhance learning opportunities and engagement, they may also present risks, including exposure to inappropriate, unsafe or unlawful content and behaviours. As such, the school has a responsibility to maximise the educational benefits of digital technologies while actively minimising and managing potential risks.

Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School is proud to be a 3Smart School, reflecting our strong commitment to fostering safe, responsible and respectful use of digital technologies. This achievement recognises the dedication of our staff and students in creating a positive digital culture, where learners are supported to be capable, confident and compassionate—both online and offline.

At Lumen Christi, we are committed to maintaining rigorous and effective Cyber Safety practices. These practices are guided by our ICT Agreement and are supported through explicit teaching, clear expectations and ongoing monitoring.

Through this approach, we aim to promote safe, responsible and respectful use of technology, empowering students to be positive digital citizens both within and beyond the school environment.
